Caroline Dallaire-Théroux is a Neurology resident and Ph.D. candidate in Neuroscience at Université Laval, enrolled in theClinician Scientist program. She is currently working under the lead of Prof. Simon Duchesne on the MRI-histologicalcharacterization of normal versus pathological brain aging. More specifically, she is looking at radiological correlates ofAlzheimer’s and cerebrovascular diseases. She has a particular interest in examining the contribution of amyloid and non-amyloidcerebral small vessel disease to cognitive impairment.

Caroline Dallaire-Théroux est résidente en neurologie et étudiante en doctorat en neurosciences à l'Université Laval et est inscrite au programme de cliniciens-chercheurs. Elle travaille actuellement sous la direction du professeur Simon Duchesne sur la caractérisation histologique par IRM du vieillissement normal du cerveau par rapport au vieillissement pathologique. Plus précisément, elle se penche sur les corrélats radiologiques de la maladie d'Alzheimer et des maladies cérébrovasculaires. Elle s'intéresse plus particulièrement à l'étude de la contribution de la maladie amyloïde et non amyloïde des petits vaisseaux du cerveau au trouble cognitif.
