Amin Banihashemi is a fourth year PhD student at the University of Toronto under the supervision of Dr. Sandra Black. His research is on investigating the utility of eye biomarkers in estimating brain tissue volume and cognitive function. In addition to research he also teaches statistics as a teaching assistant in the university. Two activities he enjoys are listening to audio books and going out on hikes with friends.
