Amanda Duncan is the Training and Capacity Building Program Coordinator for the Canadian Consortium on Neurodegeneration in Aging (CCNA). The CCNA’s Training and Capacity Building Program is led by Dr. Colleen Maxwell. Amanda graduated with an MA in Anthropology from the University of Alberta with a focus in medicine and health. She conducted an ethnographic study investigating the integration of traditional Tibetan and Western medical systems in Bhutan. Prior to joining the CCNA in 2015, Amanda worked as a Research Coordinator for the Centre for Research on Inner City Health at St. Michael’s Hospital in Toronto.
